The AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G Lens from Nikonis an attractive alternative to the classic 50mm f/1.4 "normal" lens for everyday shooting with an FX or 35mm camera. The 50mm f/1.8 is nearly as "fast" as the f/1.4 and provides reduced lens flare and ghosting as well as superior colour consistency through the use of Nikon's Super Integrated Lens Coating. One aspherical lens element virtually eliminates coma and spherical aberration.

Nikon's Silent Wave Motor gives you smooth, silent and precise autofocus operation, and the M/A mode lets you quickly and easily override the autofocus system for fine manual focusing. This lens is also compatible with DX cameras and when used with a DX camera, the angle of view would be equivalent to a 75mm focal length lens.

Included with the SB-700 AF Speedlight are a variety of useful tools and accessories. First, built into the flash alongside the wide-angle diffusion panel is a white slide-out bounce card for bouncing some light directly to the subject and creating catch lights. Also, there is a diffusion dome for softening the output of the flash and fluorescent and incandescent colour correction filters for balancing the flash to ambient light. All of this, along with a stand, is packaged in the SS-700 Soft Case, designed specifically for the flash and accessories.
