It's bright, clean and new and when I visited on Friday was just getting underway - the work crew were just putting the finishing touches to the electrics.
The shelves are starting fill up with stock that might be a little unusual for someone who hasn't visited a CE store yet ( Stirling Street, Murray Street, Hay Street mall...) The stock is for fun - a good deal of it centred around photography, which we love, but from the angle of modern and trendy enjoyment. I found electric scooters:
Robot assembly kits:
Funtime film cameras:
And Iron Men:
All these products are designed to provide technical fun for the users - though I found the Iron Men a little stark..., and they are all at affordable prices. Holiday buying is coming up and if you want an excuse to come down to the city, there's a good one at 675 Hay Street.
And then there's the story of the pink doors...but I'll explain that in a later post...
