Haida M10-II Drop-In Circular Polarizer Filter for Haida M10-II Filter Holder
This Haida M10-II Drop-In Circular Polarizer Filter helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized. The M10-II version comes with an upgraded aluminium frame that is made specifically to fit between a separately available Haida M10-II Filter Holder and an adapter ring. The improved aluminium alloy frame enables the filter to be closer to the filter holder resulting in better protection. Constructed from optical glass, this circular polarizer filter provides clarity, colour fidelity, and independent rotation in order to adjust the intensity of its effect.
Polarized Light
A polarizing filter arranges, and filters, directionally polarized light perpendicularly to the reflected light, allowing for the absorption of much of this light. The result is a noticeable reduction of glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces. This circular filter clears up haze in distant landscapes and increases tonal saturation. Additionally, it allows the strongest effect when used at a 90° angle from the sun. It is ideal for use with digital cameras and autofocus lenses where a linear polarizer will often disrupt auto exposure and focus features.
Anti-Reflection Coatings
To prevent internal ghosting and reflections, each glass surface includes 10 layers of anti-reflection coatings, which also offer greater protection to the filter. The Nano coating provides an additional layer that results in an improved beading effect when the surface comes in contact with water or oil, allowing for more efficient cleaning.

The Haida 100 x 100mm Red Diamond ND 1.8 Filter is an ND filter with a 64x filter factor that provides a 6-stop exposure reduction. It is compatible with the Haida 100 or 100-Pro Filter Holder, and its 1.8 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By increasing your aperture or slowing your exposure time, you can control the depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the colouration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.
Haida Red Diamond filters are constructed from shock-resistant optical glass. To prevent internal ghosting and reflections, while further enhancing clarity and colour fidelity, each glass surface includes 10 layers of anti-reflective nano coatings. An additional 10 scratch-resistant hydrophobic coatings further protect a Haida Red Diamond filter's substrate and result in an improved beading effect when its surfaces come in contact with water or oil, allowing for more efficient cleaning. Additionally, Haida Red Diamond filters feature rounded edges for easier placement within a compatible filter holder slot.
A metallic case for storage and transport is included, as well as a light-blocking gasket. This gasket forms a seal that is intended to prevent stray light, which could have unwanted effects on exposure, from coming in between the filter and the lens behind it.

This 100 x 150mm Red Diamond Soft-Edge Graduated Neutral Density 0.9 Filter from Haida is compatible with a Haida 100 or 100-Pro Filter Holder. It helps to darken specific areas of an image, such as bright skies, while allowing for a normal, unaffected exposure in the other regions of the image. The filter is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a soft-edged line of transition between the dense and clear areas. A neutral density filter with a soft-edged line of transition is able to filter the sky while minimizing its effect on the land. It is particularly useful where the transition between sky and foreground is indeterminate, such as images featuring mist, fog, or the tops of trees. Neutral density filters do not affect the colouration of the image and this filter provides up to a 3-stop reduction in light from entering a lens.
