Introducing the Ricoh GR IV - HDF Edition
The new GR IV HDF builds on the acclaimed performance of the RICOH GR IV and adds a built-in Highlight Diffusion Filter that can be activated instantly with a single press. Offering two distinct visual styles in one compact, pocketable camera, it allows
photographers to move effortlessly between sharp, high-contrast images and a softer, more atmospheric look with gently diffused highlights.
Designed to expand creative possibilities in everyday photography, the GR IV HDF makes versatile expression simple and
accessible.
• Highlight Diffusion Filter (HDF): Replaces the built-in ND filter to gently diffuse highlights, creating a softer, more expressive
look.
• An electronic shutter allows shooting wide open with HDF engaged, even in very bright conditions.
• The HDF can be toggled on or off using a single button—the rear Fn button is labelled “HDF” and is set to control the filter by
default. This button can be reassigned, and the HDF function can also be programmed to other controls if preferred.
