The 028B Triman Camera Tripod with Geared Center Column & XPRO Geared 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head Kit is a strong, sturdy tripod kit with a geared center column built for industrial and studio applications. Standard features include the tandem leg design, built-in bubble level, and rubber feet with retractable spikes. The geared center column has a non roll-back feature and has a threaded 3/8"-16 mount on the bottom of the column to allow low-angle shots. The included XPRO Geared 3-Way Head can hold up to 8.8 lb while weighing only 1.7 lb. It is made from a rigid technopolymer called Adapto that maintains strength without adding excess weight.
The head features micrometric knobs, allowing you to place your camera exactly where you need it. For larger adjustments the knobs can be pressed down against a lever, unlocking the movement of each axis individually. The head has a front tilt range of -20/+90°, a lateral tilt range of -90/+30°, and a 360° pan range. A 200PL quick release plate is included for fast and easy camera attachment and detachment.

This XPRO 3-Way, Geared Pan-and-Tilt Head from Manfrotto has a load capacity of 8.8 lb and can be attached to tripods or other support systems that feature a 3/8"-16 mount. It includes an integrated RC2 quick release cam lock and a 200PL-14 Quick Release Plate. RC2 compatible quick release plates such as the 200PL-14 can be removed from the head by pulling the cam lock's spring-loaded lever, which also allows the plate to be quickly reattached. The cam lock also features a safety catch to prevent the 200PL-14, or another compatible quick release plate from accidentally disconnecting.
Cameras, sport optics, or camcorders that are compatible with a 1/4"-20 mount can be connected to the quick release plate before securing it to the pan-and-tilt head. The head can be rotated 360°, tilted 90° forwards or 20° backwards, as well as 90° sideways for portrait orientation. Each of these three movements function independently of each other and have individual, spring-clamp controls. Squeezing each clamp's two handles allows the corresponding movement to be rapidly adjusted, and once the handles are released, the adjustment is locked into place. One handle on each clamp is also an integrated twist knob that allows incremental, geared adjustments, which help to ensure that any device mounted to this XPRO 3-Way, Geared Pan-and-Tilt Head is precisely positioned relative to the subject.
To further promote fast and repeatable device positioning, this XPRO 3-Way, Geared Pan-and-Tilt Head also includes dedicated angle scales for each movement that are designed for easy visibility.
