The Leofoto LS-284C PRO Ranger Series Carbon Fibre Tripod represents a significant upgrade on the traditional Leofoto Ranger Series tripods, incorporating the most recent technological advancements. The Pro model boasts denser carbon fibre leg tubes, enhancing both strength and rigidity. It also introduces water-resistant twist leg locks, effectively minimising water and debris intrusion. The angle stops have been refined for superior ergonomics, now offering four distinct angle positions, up from the previous three. Finally, the compact apex platform has been re-engineered to provide an additional 10% surface area for head mounting.

Leofoto tripods feature lightweight carbon fibre tubes to reduce weight whilst maintaining a high load capacity. The T6-6061 grade aluminium hardware is CNC machined and hard anodised, creating a durable and scratch-resistant setup. The standard twist leg lock system can be quickly deployed with a quarter turn. With the tripod's variable leg angle positions, the tripod can be completely spread out, so the support can drop to a very low minimum height.
