Built for outdoor adventure but equally useful as a home emergency light, the Goal Zero Torch 500 Flashlight offers versatile lighting options and can even make its own power. The Torch 500 is fitted with a spot beam flashlight and a long flood light, each with 150- and 300-lumen brightness settings. You can use both lights together for a total output of 500 lumens. Power comes from a Li-ion NMC battery that can be recharged from the built-in, 1.2-watt monocrystalline solar panel along the back of the light. The battery can also (and more quickly) be recharged by a separate solar panel, such as the Goal Zero Nomad, or from a USB source. With a capacity of 5200mAh, the battery can hold enough power to charge or boost your phone, headlamp, or other device, and a USB Type-A output is provided for the purpose. Runtime on a fully charged battery ranges from three hours on high power to 50 hours on low. Rainy weather won't damage this light—it's rated IP67 waterproof, capable of withstanding submersion to 3.3' deep for 30 minutes.
