The SmallRig L-Shaped Mount Plate for Sony Alpha 7R VI 6706 is designed to facilitate quick transitions between horizontal and vertical shooting. It securely attaches to the camera using a 1/4"-20 screw and features protective pads to prevent scratches.

The upper side plate features a 1/4"-20 threaded hole for attaching a ball head magic arm (ID 3873), enabling multi-angle and dual-camera setups. The side plate is retractable by 24mm (0.9 in), providing flexible cable routing without obstructing the side ports. Additionally, it features a hinged arm at the battery compartment for improved ergonomics and pinky finger support.

The mount plate incorporates an integrated Arca-Swiss quick-release plate at the bottom for seamless compatibility with Arca-type tripods (ID 4353) and DJI stabilizers (RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 Mini / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 Mini / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro / RS 5), allowing for rapid switching between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups. Furthermore, it features a QD socket for attaching quick-release shoulder straps (ID 4118).
